Piano lessons via Web to prevent spread of virus

All Musikhaus piano lessons will be conducted online at their previously scheduled times during the week of March 16 — no in-person lessons.

This STRONG strategy that encourages people to stay home in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, out of LOVE for all our neighbors, including the most vulnerable, is called social distancing. Area school districts and many other organizations are adopting it. Social distancing is most effective at slowing the spread of a pandemic when practiced in lockstep and SOLIDARITY with the larger community! See www.ccisd.net/covid-19 .

Feeling nostalgic and proud as I look back on some videos from the Hausmusik on February 24, 2018. My students are growing up generally and musically!

Hausmusik at Musikhaus Piano Studio is usually an informal recital with Compliment Exchange. For the 2018 edition clouds floated peacefully by while we shared music and bundtinis.

Music Moves for Piano student Paden, age 6, already has his first student: Mom! He learned the part Mom is playing, taught himself his part and then taught his mom the first part. Keyboard Games are fun at any age, but I only have lesson times left for 4-8 year-olds!

Georgia, age 11, earned her first Gold Cup this year in Piano Solo. Congratulations to Georgia on the hard work and beautiful playing!!! It takes a minimum participation in three annual NFMC Festivals to earn a cup.
